What a big month for us in the Sundog pack!

A few of us have been very busy, near and far. Sassenach had been excelling at her tricks and doing very well when introduced to new chains and behaviors. So what started as a push for her intermediate trick dog title by her turning 6 months turned into a try for finishing advanced and expert trick dog by 6 months. Not only did she pull it off, but we did it with time to spare. This makes her the youngest Tamaskan to earn any of the four standard trick titles, the third Tamaskan to earn ITD (4/3), ATD (4/9), and ETD (4/14). I could not be more proud of her and all she has learned and the joy she puts into learning new things.

We were also thrilled to be working remotely with Jay to get Kiiya his Novice trick dog title. He is the second of the puppies froom the PT Boat litter to earn this title and one of only six Tamaskans to have the title.

Lastly, these little puppies gave Clara a wonderful gift. Their 5 combined titles with her own 5 trick titles make up the 10 trick dog titles of 2 generations needed for a dam or sire to earn the Trick Dog Register of Merit throught DMWYD! This makes Clara the first of our breed to earn this title and to have it earned with the help of Jaisie, Jay, and Kiiya makes it all the sweeter. I knew Clara would get this title at some point as I knew I would finish all the trick options with Sassenach but at the time that I write this there are under 60 dogs to have earned this title and I am proud and overjoyed to have Clara among them and to have had my friends help her get there.
