Our Community

Image

Our community is vast and full. As an individual I value diversity, creativity, individuality, and supporting my community and those around me. From a young age these values have been instilled in me and in my life I have been lucky enough to have an amazing support system and the ability to travel and move all over. In my entire life I have never seen an individual, place, or culture that did not send out ripples and affects on the world around them. And I have seen the smallest gestures, youngest people, newest to the community, and everyone in between leave world shattering impacts on those that cross their path.

I thought long and hard about making this page and it always felt right to be open and welcoming, but it also has felt, for years, like a false face to shout my stances and beliefs. So, I hope that this information can be considered by others when looking from the outside in, and that those I support and love know this comes from a place of care and love and that if that is not how it is viewed I want to hear from you so I can continue to grow and advocate with care and consideration for those I love.

Sundog Stands For . . .

Sundog Stands for our community, our family, and our future.
We are here to be a family for our dogs and their families forever.
We support everyone’s right to be themselves.
We encourage our community to be respectful and accepting of differences.
We believe in human rights.
We want to grow, learn, and have the difficult discussions.
We love to see new faces and welcome those who are still learning.
We see your efforts to give back and be the best person you can be.
We celebrate our differences and our varied cultures and experiences.
We are committed to our dogs and those that join our family through association, welcoming a dog, participating in events, or just being a friend.
We know our purpose is to thrive and share our own personality, program, and individuality through our skills and education.
We foster and support our local and international dog and breed communities and everyone who is a part of that community.
We guide those who approach us for help and share our love and desire to better our breed and the dog community on a whole.
We welcome all of you to our extended community and can’t wait to get to know you.

We want to empower you to speak up and share where you stand.
